Prominent Assamese writer of ArunachalPradesh, Yeshe Dorjee Thongchi will grace the next ‘Guest of the Month’ program of Guwahati Press Club (GPC) on 4 October (Tuesday). The interactive session with the Sahitya Academi award winning author will begin at 12 noon at GPC hall no 2.

Recipient of Sahitya Akademi, Bhasha Bharati, Phulchand Khandelwal Sanghati, Basudev Jalan award etc, Thongchi is immensely popular with Assamese readers through his literary works like Mauna Oath Mukhar Hriday, Sonam, Bih Konyar Deshat, Shaw Kota Manuh, Moi Akou Janam lom, Papor Pukhuri, Banh Foolar Gondha etc.
