Answer:

Displacement ( s ) = 8 m .

Explanation:

Given :

Initial velocity ( u ) = 4 m / sec

Final velocity ( v ) = 8 m / sec

Acceleration ( a ) = 3 m / sec² .

We have to find displacement ( s ) .

From third equation of motion we have

\displaystyle{v^2=u^2+2as}

where v = Final velocity

u = Initial velocity

a = Acceleration

s = displacement

Now put the values in equation we get

\displaystyle{8^2=4^2+2\times3\times s}\\\\\displaystyle{64=16+6s}\\\\\displaystyle{6s=64-16}\\\\\displaystyle{s=\dfrac{48}{6}}\\\\ \displaystyle{s=8 \ m}

Thus we get displacement ( s)  = 8 m .

ANSWER:

displacement is 8 meter

EXPLANATION:

In this case v^2=u^2+2as

a-aceleration,s-displacement & u and v are initial and final velocity respectively.

8^2=4^2+2×3s

64=16+6s

64-16=6s

48=6s

s=48÷6

s=8meter
