Rabi Crop :
- Sown in winter from October to December.
- Harvested in summer from April to June.
- E.g. - Wheat , Barley, Peas and Gram etc.
Kharif Crop :
- Grown with onset of monsoon in different parts of country.
- Harvested from September to October.
- E.g. - Paddy ,Maize , Jowar and Bajra etc.
Zaid Crop :
- In between rabi and kharif seasons there is a short season during summer months known as Zaid season.
- E.g. - Cucumber , Watermelon , Muskmelon etc.
