An economic activity is divided into three major categories. Which is the business, profession and employment. Lets elaborate all three of them.
A profession requires special knowledge and skill which would be applied by individuals in their occupation. Education gains persons the special knowledge skill which will help them in their job.
Employment refers to an individual working for an employer and receiving wages or a salary in return.
The thin line which differs profession and employment is that a profession need not always give you a payment. But, being employed will always give you a payment.
