Intramolecular H− bonding increases the volatility. In chemistry, volatile means the tendency of a substance to vaporize. Intramolecular H− bond increase vapour pressure.
For example, due to presence of intramolecular H− bonding between OH and NO2 groups ortho nitrophenol is more volatile.
