intrinsic means pure semiconductor..(means it is of mainly Silicon)
Extrinsic means impure.. A impurity can be added to it like Phosphorus(n-type) & aluminium(p-type)

HEY MATE HERE IS YOUR ANSWER...

Extrinsic Semiconductors. Intrinsic semiconductors, also called an undoped semiconductors or i-typesemiconductor, are puresemiconductor without any significant dopant species present. The number of charge carriers is therefore determined by the properties of the material itself instead of the amount of impurities.
