Cell can be defined as the basic unit or the building of living beings. From microscopic unicellular organism to large multicellular organisms are composed of cell. Cells consist of cytoplasm enclosed within a membrane, which contains many biomolecules such as proteins and nucleic acids. Cell can be of two types prokaryotics and eukaryotics. Prokaryotic cells can't further divide and only found in some microorganisms. Eukaryotic cell an further divide and are found in complex multicellular organisms. All new cells are formed from the pre-existing cells. Growth of an organism is the result of cell division.
