All living things have DNA within their cells. In fact, nearly every cell in a multicellular organism possesses the full set of DNA required for that organism.

Ribonucleic acid is popularly known as RNA. Certain RNAs are able to catalyse chemical reactions such as cutting and ligating other RNA molecules, and the catalysis of peptide bond formation in the ribosome;these are known as ribozymes.

DNA is located in the nucleus of a cell and in the mitochondria .Meanwhile RNA is found in the cytoplasm,nucleus and also in the ribosomes.
