Environment consists of the sum total of the external factors that make our surroundings that is physical and biotic environnement.the literal meaning of environment is surroundings it consists of atmosphere, Hydrosphere ,lithosphere atmosphere is gaseous envelope surrounding the lithosphere that is earth, it supports and protects the life on earth by absorbing harmful radiations from outer space the Hydrosphere provides one of the most essential component for every persistent of life, the water .lithosphere contain Minerals and provides or exchange minerals with the living world .these three constituent biosphere. biosphere is called the biotic or biological environment environment includes life as whole in numerous ways providing all the necessities of life as well as certain risks.today human species dominate the earth.. It is greatly affected the environment sometimes favourably and sometimes unfavorably one such serious problem is water pollution and how to control it.Conclusion: when the early man began his life on the planet earth Virtually there was no environment problems he was living in complete harmony with the nature using only few natural resources for his existence and survival with the increase in population increase in the demands change in lifestyle and above all the increase in knowledge for utilising the natural resources for development there has been tremendous pressure on environment man started interfering with his environment by felling trees for firewood and household needs he removed vast area of forest for bringing more land under cultivation industrialization urbanization and other developmental activities he killed animals for recreation food and safety.
