Plasma: the 4th State of Matter. A plasma is a hot ionized gas consisting of approximately equal numbers of positively charged ions and negatively charged electrons

A Bose-Einstein condensate (BEC) is a state of matter of a dilute gas of bosons cooled to temperatures very close to absolute zero (0 Kelvin or -273.15°C).
