it is a type of linear equation which has two different variables and 2 different equations

its in the form:

ax+by+c=0..…..(1)

cx+dy+e=0.........(2)

Example

25x+64y+70=0.....(1)

54x+67y+65=0......(2)

it can be solved by the following:

1) Substitution method

2) Elimination method

3) Cross multiplication method
