A strengths, weaknesses, opportunitiesand threats (SWOT) analysis has been drawn upon conceptually, leading to a usefulcomparison between Railways globally, allowing benchmarks to be identified against whichthe Indian Railways' performance can be judged.Intention has been to introspect and analyze.
