Disaster management is the discipline dealing of with and avoiding risks.It involves preparing, supporting, and rebuilding society when natural or human-made disasters occur. The safety measures that need to be taken up for constructing disaster resistant buildings, resistant to four natural hazards: earthquake, landslide, cyclone and flood. It is common to place the responsibility for governmental emergency management with the institutions for civil defense.
