This question is based on the lesson Euclid's Geomentry of Grade-9

AC =  $\frac{1}{2}$ AB → 1 (given)

EF =   $\frac{1}{2}$ ED → 2 (given)

From 1 and 2 we get,

$\frac{1}{2}$ AB = $\frac{1}{2}$ ED

Here we use Euclids Axiom, "Things which are equal to the same thing are equal to one another".

Then we get,

CB = FD (As half of AB can be written as CB and half of EF can be written as FD)

∴CB = FD Proved.
