Answer:

1. Whole number:- 0,1,2,3,4,5....

2. Natural number:- 1,2,3,4,5...

3. Positive number:- +1,+2,+3,+4,+5...

4. Negative number:- -1,-2,-3,-4....

5. Integers:- [-4,-3,-2,-1,0,] [+1,+2,+3,+4.....]

Left Side Right Side

6. Every negative is always less than'0', and every positive number.

7. Longest negative number is -1.

8. Every positive number is always greater than'0'.

Rules of Sign

For doing Addition

i) (+)+(+) = (+)

ii) (+)+(-) = Bigger no [Sub] sign

iii) (-)+(+) = Bigger no [Sub] sign

iv) (-)+(-) = (+)

For example:-

(+7)+(+5) = 7+5 = 12

(+7)+(-5) = 7-5 = 2

(-7)+(+5) = -7+5 = -2

(-7)+(-5) = -7-5 = -12

2+8 = 10

,3+(-12) = -9

(-11)+7 = -4

(-4)+(-4) = -4-4 = -8

For doing Subtraction

i) (+)-(+) = Bigger no sign [Sub]

ii) (+)-(-) = (+) [Add]

iii) (-)-(+) = (-)

iv) (-)-(-) = Bigger no sign [Sub]

For example:-

(+7)-(+5) = 7-5 = 2

(+7)-(-5) = 7+5 = 12

(-7)-(+5) = -7-5 = -12

(-7)+(-5) = -7+5 = -2

For doing Multiplication

i) (+)×(+) = (+)

ii) (+)×(-) = (-)

iii) (-)×(+) = (-)

iv) (-)×(-) = (+)

For example:-

(+11)×(+7) = 77

(+10)×(-4) = -40

(-3)×(+9) = -27

(-8)×(-4) = +32

For doing Division

i) (+)÷(+) = (+)

ii) (+)÷(-) = (-)

iii) (-)÷(+) = (-)

iv) (-)÷(-) = (+)

For example:-

(+10)÷(+5) = +2 or +10/+5 = 2

(+8)÷(-2) = -4 or 8/-2 = -4

(-4)÷(+16) = -1/4 or -4/16 = -1/4

(-6)÷(-3) = 2 or -6/-3 = 2

The words are used to indicate (+ve) Positive and ( -ve) Negative Sign.
