Its a systematic organization and presentation of information thats normally required by management of an organization for taking good decisions for organization.  

MIS data can be derived from various units of organization or other sources.  

Its very difficult to say exact structure of MIS as structure and goals of various types of organizations are different.  

Both data and structure of MIS is dependent on type of organization and often customized to specific requirement of the management.
