Reform in transport sector:

To make transport easy and cheap, Scottish engineer Mc Adam found a new method of road construction.

In order to make transportation of heavy goods convenient and cheap, canals were built.

In England, 1st canal named Worsley canal was built by James brindley in 1761 CE.

In 1869 CE , French engineer Ferdinand de Lesseps built a canal named Suez canal, due to which distance between Europe and India was reduced by one- third.

Steam power was also used in modes of transportation.

An American named Robert Fulton invented the 1st Steam boat in 1807 CE.

In 1814, George Stephenson invented steam locomotive named rocket.
