the mixture of ammonium chloride and iodine can be separated by the process of simply heating it . as the substance with low vaporizing point vapourises first leaving another substance to be separated from it...
that's all

How will you separate a mixture of Ammonium Chloride and Iodine?

We know very well that both the iodine and Ammonium Chloride sublime on heating, so they cannot be separated by heating.

And when we add water to this mixture ammonium chloride will dissolve but iodine will not.

On filteration ammonium chloride will pass into the filtrate and Iodine will be left as the Residue.

On floor heating the filtrate water will evaporate of leaving behind ammonium chloride.

And in this way we can separate the mixture of Ammonium Chloride and Iodine.
