ionic compound in solid state do not conduct electricity. whereas im molten state are good conductor of electricity​

This is because for conduction of electricity, free-moving ions are needed. In solid state, ionic compounds have high intermolecular forces of attraction which prevents ions from flowing. Whearas in molten state these bonds are broken which helps in conduction of electricity.
