YOOO
AS WE KNOW IONIC COMPOUND ARE MADE FROM IONS WHICH ARE BONDED FROM STRONG ELECTROSTATIC FORCE OF ATTRACTION
DUE TO THIS FORCE OF ATTRACTION THEY DONT HAVE FREE ELECTRONS THATS WHY IN SOLID STATE THEY DONT CONDUCT ELECTRICITY.
BUT IN MOLTEM STATE THERE BOND LOOSES AND THEY GET FREE ELECTRONS.

Ionic compounds are good conductors of electricity in the fused state(or in aqueous) state because the electrostatic forces of attraction weaken in fused state or in solution state.Hence ions become mobile
