Ionic solid conduct electricity in molten state this is possible because electrostatic forces of attraction btw the oppositely charged ions are overcome due to heat ions move freely and conduct electricity but in solid movement of ions are not possible

Ionic solid conduct electricity in molten state but not in solid state.
EXPLANATION:
In molten state ELECTRONS MOVE FREELY and easily conduct electricity,
where as in solid state the electrons are fixed in their positions, they don't move and hence it couldn't conduct electricity.
