Ionisation energy is always positive for atom but Na ke case me ye negative kyo ni hoti because it's easy to lose electon for Na 2,8,1​

In Case of Sodium (Na)

Sodium being neutral in nature and is more stable, therefore it becomes more difficult to remove an electron form a stable species. That's why Sodium does't have negative ionisation energy.
