HII DEAR

Ionization energy is the energy to remove an electron. It's easier to remove one electron from an alkali metal than an alkaline earth metal because the element will then obtain noble gas configuration.......................

because in alkali metal the outer shell electrons are near to the nucleus show more energy need to remove the electrons as we know that and digestion energy is called to remove the electrons and in alkaline earth metal the outer sales number of electron is more far it's nucleus than alkalis metal. so energy required for removing electrons will be less in alkalis earth metal than alkali metals.
