Given : (8 + 3 \sqrt{7} )^2 + (8 - 3 \sqrt{7} )^2

We know that (a + b)^2 = a^2 + b^2 + 2ab

We know that (a - b)^2 = a^2 + b^2 - 2ab.

Now,

= \ \textgreater \  8^2 + (3 \sqrt{7} )^2 + 2 * 8 * 3 \sqrt{7} + 8^2 + (3 \sqrt{7})^2 - 2 * 8 * 3 \sqrt{7}

= \ \textgreater \  64 + 63 + 48 \sqrt{7}  + 64 + 63 - 48 \sqrt{7}

= > 127 + 127

= > 254.



Therefore the result is 254
