Answer:

Read the steps

Step-by-step explanation:

perimeter of a rectangle = 2(l+b)

Let L be the length of the rectangle.

then, breadth = L-7

So 2(L+L-7) = 1034

=> 2(2L-7) = 1034

=> 4L - 14 = 1034

=> 4L = 1034 + 14 = 1048

=> L = 1048/4

=> L= 262

given that Breadth = L-7

therefore 262-7 = 255 = the breadth

length=262, breadth = 255

Given:-

            Length of fenced wire= 1034m

             Breadth of plot= length of plot-7m

              B=L-7

To find:-

              Length and breadth

Solution:-

Length of fenced wire= Perimeter of the rectangular field

Perimeter= 1034m

2(L+B)=1034                  [Perimeter= 2(L+B)]

2(L+L-7)=1034                [B=L-7]

2(2L-7)=1034

2L-7=1034/2

2L-7=517

2L= 517+7

2L= 524

L=262m

B= L-7

B= 262-7

B=255m
