Given

Amount Ira uses=3 3/4 m

Amount Sia uses = 2 5/6 m

The total amount of fabric=6 2/3 m

To Find

Amount of fabric left.

Solution

Amount Ira uses=3 3/4 = \frac{15}{4} m

Amount Sia uses = 2 5/6 m=\frac{17}{6} m

The total amount of fabric=6 2/3 m = \frac{20}{3} m

Therefore the amount left= \frac{20}{3} - \frac{15}{4} -\frac{17}{6}

                                          =\frac{80-45-34}{12}

                                          = \frac{1}{12} m

Therefore the amount left is \frac{1}{12} m.
