Iron displaces copper from copper sulphate but copper cannot displace iron from an iron sulphate solution

in electrochemical series iron comes above Cu and has higher potential reduction thus can displace while Cu comes down Fe and has lower potential ...

It is so because iron is more reactive than copper .
