iron is a strong metal used for making bridges.Can we do electroplating on it to protect from corrosion?why . give one method to protect them.​

yes strong metal are used for making bridges

but we can't do electroplating on it to protect it from corrosion , we will do galvanisation process to protect it from corrosion ,as in this process iron is coated with more active metal like zinc because it will rust before the iron and protect it from rusting .

galvanisation is one method to protect them
