Answer:-
◆ When Iron nail (Fe) dipped in blue Copper sulphate solution (CuSO4). it give Iron Sulphate (FeSO4) green im colour and Copper (Cu) brownish in colour.
◆ Example - CuSO4 + Fe ---- FeSO4 + Cu
1. CuSO4 = blue
2. Fe = black
3. FeSO4 = green
4. Cu = brownish
◆ It is Displacement reaction.
◆ Displacement Reaction : The reaction in which high reactive metal displace the less reactive metal is called Displacement Reaction.
◆ In this above reaction Iron (Fe) more reactive metal than Copper (Cu) because Iron (Fe) will displace the Copper (Cu).
