Iron rod corrode more fast in salt water then in the ordinary water .This is because saline water reacts more faster with iron which causes the iron to rust more fastly . thus if we compare both the salt water will corrode the iron metal faster than ordinary water. the ordinary water do corrodes the metal but not as fast as salt water does .
