Actually this is a simple question irrigation is dependent on soil because if we increase the supply of water there is no use. The quality of soil should be good if the quality of the soil is good then absorption rate increases and enough supply of water will be given to plants or trees. And PH of soil is also tested because if it is more acidic or base it may lead to some fatigue smell etc so firstly quality of soil should be tested thats why in every village there is a government soil testing centre where scientists come and check the quality of soil.
