Correct answer is option B: These areas receive sufficient rainfall. Irrigation farming is generally essential  in the regions  where sufficient of water is not available in the monsoon seasons.

But near the western coastal regions, the South West Monsoon Winds gather sufficient rain fall  over the western coastal of  Arabian Sea.

Hence, adequate rainfall to the places near the western coastal region of India has a very little practice of Irrigation Farming.
