Actually 1 is not prime because prime no's are those which have factors itself and 1 , As taking 1 and factor itself as system, As it don't follow universal law that two identical things forming a system

1 is not a prime number as because the definition (of prime number) states that any positive integer having exactly two positive divisors are known as prime numbers.

But as we know, the number 1 has only one positive divisor and that is 1 itself, so by this we conclude that the number 1 is not a prime number.
