No, it is not as _150 does not have remainder 2, when divided by 5.

Formula of Arithmetic Sequence or Progression;

Tn=a+(n-1)d

We have here;

Tn=-150

a=17

n=??

d=12-17

=-5

Now;!!! Substitute the value of Required terms in Given Arithmetic Sequence or Progression Equation!!!

Tn=a+(n-1)d

-150=17+(n-1)-5

-150=17-5n+5

-150=22-5n

-150-22=-5n

-172=-5n

172=5n

5n=172

n=172/5

Note:- Here, Number of terms in fraction So -150 is not value of AP .

Hence; Number of terms Never be Negative!!
