Step-by-step explanation:

a=5

d=7

an=150

an=a+(n-1)d

150=5+(n-1)7

145=(n-1)7

145/7=n-1

20.7=n-1

n=21.7

150 is not term in this AP

Given A.P is 5,12,19,.......

Here a = 5 ; d = a2-a1 ; an = 150

=12-5

=7

We know that ,

an = a + (n-1) d

Substituting all the values ,we get

150 = 5 + (n-1)7

150 =5 +7n-7

150 = -2+7n

7n = 152

n = 152/7

Here 152 can not be divided with 7

So, 150 is not a term in A.P 5,12,19,.....
