17 x 5 x 11 x 2 + 2 is a composite number

Solution:

Given that,

17 \times 5 \times 11 \times 2 + 2

We have to check if it is a composite number

Composite number: number that has factors in addition to one and itself

From given,

17 \times 5 \times 11 \times 2 + 2 \\\\Factor\ out\ 2\ from\ above \\\\2(17 \times 5 \times 11 + 1 )

Thus 2 is a factor of given number

Since 2 is a factor of given number, therefore the given number is a composite number.
