The answer is yes

But there is reason behind it and it’s 7 which is prime number

Here is explanation

Every number if it’s odd or even has equation

Which is (x+1) = y

Here if x is 2 then Y will be 3 now if x is odd y will be even

Or (either) you can use this
(Y-1 = x)
(3-1=2)

Here is the thing all numbers is dependent on 0 and 1 3 5 7 and 2 4

I.E 18 is created by 1 and 8
Is even

15 is odd created by 1 and 5

If we take 15 and we +^- 1 this term
(15+1,15-1)
(16,14)
Both number will be even

If we seen at 17
(17+1,17-1)
=(18,16)

Both is even like any usual number but but it’s created with 1 and 7 where 7 is prime number

Now simple thing is 17 is monomial but real reason 7 and that’s here how

(17-16) = 1

If x is 1 then it’s odd

But but

17+1 = 18
It means 17 = ( 1,18)

Now here is the thing it’s in middle of 2 even number

and

the answer of being monomial is simple it is protected by prime number 7

That’s is also one more rule if the first digit is odd and second is even

it will be odd

16 = here 1 is odd and 6 is even = even
At the same time
17 = 1 is odd and 7 is prime number = monomial

You can not divide it
But yes it has 2 values

(17,1)
(1,17)

I hope it will help you understand

Thank you
