Is √2 a polynomial?
if yes why because root 2 can be written as 2 power 1/2, here 1/2 is not a whole number then why is root 2 a ​​​polynomial?
If no then in ncert book pg 31 1st paragraph class 9 it says
" Some more linear polynomial in one variable are root 2y"
