given,
2x-3=0
=>2x=3
=>x=3/2
p(x)=2x^3-9x²+12=0
=>2.(3/2)^3-9x(2/3)²+12=0
=>27/4-4+12=0
=>27/4-16=0
=>14.75which is not equal to zero
therefore its not a factor of p(x).
hope its the required answer....
