no it is not.......put x=3 and y-2....it's not equal to 1.

⏺️ If ( 3,- 2) a solution of the linear equation x - y = 1. Then it will satisfy the equation..

▶️ Lets check it

=> x = 3 , y = - 2

=> x - y = 1

=> 3 - ( - 2 ) = 1

=> 3 + 2 = 1

=> 5 = 1 // not possible

▶️ Hence it doesn't satisfy the equation
