Let, 4√7 is a rational number which is in the form of p/q in which p and q are

co-primes.

4√7=p/q

√7=p/q/4

√7 is a irrational number

p/q/4 is a rational number

We know that,

rational is not equal to irrational

therefore.....

4√7 is a irrational number.
