Is 5/11 the multiplicative inverse of -2(1/5)?why is why not

Answer:

for to be multiplicative inverse of number... their product should be equal to 1

So let's check it

-2(1/5) × 5/11

= -11/5 × 5/11

= -1 ( not equal to 1)

Hence 5/11 is not multiplicative inverse of -2(1/5) as product is not 1
