Yes it is a term of the given sequence.
Let 55 be the nth term of the sequence and a be the first term , i.e. 1 and the difference between each two terms is 2, so let the difference d be 2. Therefore, ATP
a+d(n-1)=55
=>1+2(n-1)=55
=>n-1=54/2
=>n=27+1
=>n=28
