Is 5x² +17x +6 factorisable? If yes , factorise it.

Solution:-

Comparing 5x² +17x +6 with ax²+bx+c, we get :--

a= 5, b=17 and c= 6

Therefore,

b²-4ac= (17)²-4×5×6

= 289 -120=169.

169 is a perfect square of 13.

Therefore it's proved.
