is 73 a prime or composite number why which is the easiest way to find whether a no is prime or composite?

easiest way of finding a number whether it is prime or not is prime factorization.
73 is prime number.

Avishek: if there is no number that can divide 73 except 1 and 73 itself, then it is a prime number

73 is a prime number because it can only be  divided evenly by 1 and itself.

You know that except number 2 all other even numbers are not prime numbers. You also know  except number 5, all other numbers divisible by 5 are not primes.You  can also find it by dividing or by primefactorisation.
