IS 8/9 multiplicative inverse of 1×1/8 ?why or why not​

The multiplicative inverse is the one which when multiplied with the original number gives 1 as the product.

here 1×1/8 = 9/8

Also 8/9 × 9/8 = 1

Hence it is the multiplicative inverse(reciprocal) of 8/9
