Many crabs are omnivores and take plant- and meat-related foods, others are carnivores only meat-eaters,  and some are herbivores and takes both plant-and meat.

Crabs are a type of species with 10-legs and walk sideways. There are almost 5,000 kinds of different Crab species; about 4,500 are true crabs, plus about 500 are hermit type who don't have a very hard shell and utilize other animals' old shells for self-protection.

Most crabs live in the oceans, as well as on land.

Diet: Many crabs are omnivores and take plant- and meat-related foods, others are carnivores only meat-eaters,  and some are herbivores and takes both plant-and meat.

Anatomy: Crabs are invertebrates, ie. species without a backbone.
