  • A product is a tangible object which can easily be touched, seen, felt or smell.
  • A service is a non tangible. It cannot be touched, seen or felt. There is a lot of debate that the service is also a tangible object like a tailor uses a tailoring machine and a barber uses various equipment to trim your hair. and thus services should be considered a tangible object but the technique skill and knowledge is intangible.
  • Often it is possible to return a product but  most of the time it is not possible to return a service.
