The Biogeography of Pacific Tree Frog. Hyla regilla (displaying one of his many colors) on a leaf. Species Description: Hyla regilla also known as the Pacific tree frog resides along the Pacific Coast of North America as far south as Baja California and as far north as British Columbia.
