meenakshi997sa: no... there are certain Example where the physical quantity have both direction and magnitude but it is not vector as they do not follow law of vector addition....eg- electrical current

Example:
VELOCITY
is a vector quantity wheras SPEED is a scalar quantity.

Vector quantity means
including both magnitude and direction.

velocity=displacement/ time

so displacement is also a vector quantity.
